Em novembro último, a Oji Papéis Especiais anunciou o aporte de R$ 500 milhões na fábrica localizada em Piracicaba, no interior de São Paulo. O investimento, que somará cerca de 30[%] de caixa próprio e os demais 70[%] da matriz japonesa Oji Holdings Corporation, prevê a ampliação do espaço fabril em 6,8 mil m2 para a instalação de uma nova máquina de revestimento de papel e a modernização de outros equipamentos da planta atual.
