UHPC(Ultra-high performance concrete)is a new type of cement matrix composite material with excellent mechanical properties, which has broken the limit of cement base material and application field, and has been applied in steel-UHPC composite structure bridge. Aiming at the technical difficult problem about limited spanning ability and poor durability of the existing bridge, domestic and foreign scholars put forward the steel-UHPC composite structure taking the advantages of UHPC. At present, plentiful and substantial achievements have been achieved, such as the flexural behavior, crack resistance, fatigue performance, shear behavior of stud, the factors influencing joint performance, prefabricated structures and assembly method. The steel-UHPC composite structure has good economy and feasibility, meanwhile it has better crack resistance and bending performance under positive and negative bending moments, which can greatly reduce the detail fatigue stress amplitude of steel structure. The shear properties of the stud shear connector are significantly affected by the diameter and yield strength of the stud. The performance of joints are affected by the anchorage length of steel bars, joint interface and joint type. The steel-UHPC composite structure is suitable for prefabricated construction, and has good application prospect in rapid construction technology of prefabricated bridge and long-span bridge structure, which shows a good development trend. In this paper, the static performance, fatigue performance, joint performance and steel-UHPC composite bridge are summarized systematically. The application prospect of steel-UHPC composite bridge is analyzed. The research trend of further improvement of steel-UHPC composite structure in design theory, specification system and application field is pointed out, and references for future research work and engineering application are provided. © 2021, Materials Review Magazine.
