Aiming at the power system of coastal areas with onshore wind power, offshore wind power and nuclear power, the coordinated scheduling problem of wind-nuclear power was studied. Based on the characteristics of wind power and the peak load shaving of nuclear power, the matching of wind power and nuclear power peak load shaving was analyzed. According to the principle of economic dispatch, a coordinated dispatch model of wind-nuclear power was established, and the method of subdividing the depth of peak load shaving was proposed to linearize the constraint of nuclear power. Effectiveness of the proposed model and method was verified by a numerical example. The results show that the wind power output is matched with the peak load shaving of nuclear power, and the coordinated dispatch of wind-nuclear power can give consideration to the flexibility and cost of peak load shaving, which improve the dispatching economy and reduce the curtailment of wind power. Furthermore, the nuclear power unit adopts the load following mode to participate in daily peak load shaving, and uses the proposed method to optimize the nuclear power output, which can effectively reduce the total operation cost. © 2019 Chin.
