摘要
To deeply study cavities evolution and motion laws in process of two-cylinder in parallel water-entry at low speed, tests for two-cylinder in parallel water-entry at low speed were conducted. The evolution mechanism of in parallel water-entry two-cavity was analyzed by comparing tests for a single cylinder water entry and those for two-cylinder in parallel water entry. The tests with different water-entry velocities were conducted to study the effects of water-entry velocity on cylinders' motion characteristics in process of them in parallel water-entry. Combined with the evolution law of cavities, the influence mechanism of cavities evolution process on cylinders' motion was analyzed. The results showed that in process of two-cylinder in parallel water-entry at low speed, cavities have obvious asymmetry; cylinders have lateral motion and excursion one under the asymmetric hydrodynamic action; cavities closure affects cylinders' excursion motion obviously, the motion characteristic curves of two-cylinder and two-cavity morphology have a good symmetry. © 2019, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock.
