Depending on the scrap composition, dusts from the converter process often contain considerable amounts of zinc besides iron. In the so-called RecoDust-process, which allows a separation of zinc and iron, the reactivity has a strong dependence on the conveying condition of the dust feed. With a series of experiments it was possible to create a delivery status diagram for the pneumatic conveying of converter fine dust in the low and medium pressure range. © 2019 Czech Medical Association J.E.
