摘要
To study the influence of advertising signs on driving behaviors on flat curves sections of highways, the speed and lateral lanegap data were collected from 50 subjects on 20 groups of different advertising signs setting parameters and flat curve radius. The indicators of speed area, lane crossing behavior, and lateral lanegap were constructed to determine the starting and ending points of significant changes in driving behaviors under the influence of advertising signs. The results show that the erection form, distance from the road edge, and flat curve radius have significant effects on the starting and ending points of driving behaviors. The density of advertising signs only affects the ending point of speed and lateral lanegap. And it is not suitable to install advertising signs on flat curve sections with a radius less than 1000 m,even if they are floor-mounted billboards which have the least influence. © 2023 Editorial Board of Jilin University.
