摘要
To study the shear behavior of concrete-filled precast concrete tube (CFPCT) columns, monotonic loading tests were conducted on twelve CFPCT columns and three precast concrete hollow tube columns. The effects of shear span ratio, axial compression ratio, stirrup ratio and strength of filled concrete on the shear capacity, deformation behavior and failure mode of the specimens were analyzed. The test results show that the failure modes of all specimens are shear-compression failure. The angle of main inclined crack ranges from 28° to 41°. Shear span ratio and axial compression ratio have great effect on the shear behavior of CFPCT columns. Increasing the shear span ratio decreases the shear capacity, but significantly increases the deformation capacity. The shear capacity increases with the increase of the axial compression ratio, while the deformation capacity shows an inverse relationship. Compared with the precast concrete hollow tube columns, the shear capacity and deformation capacity of the CFPCT column are improved due to the presence of infilled concrete. The shear capacity formula for CFPCT columns was proposed. The predicted values are in good agreement with the test results. © 2022, Editorial Office of Journal of Building Structures.
