Das Amyloid-PET/CT ist ein wertvolles Hilfsmittel zur visuellen Darstellung zerebraler Amyloidablagerungen hinsichtlich der Abklärung einer neurodegenerativen Erkrankung. Es sollte jedoch nicht als einziges diagnostisches Mittel herangezogen werden. Der vorliegende Artikel soll einen Überblick über die Möglichkeiten des Amyloid-PET/CT bei der Abklärung neurodegenerativer Erkrankungen bieten. Zur Veranschaulichung werden zwei Fallbeispiele präsentiert.
