摘要
The need for low-weight and elevated-strength composites naturally available fibres has gone up significantly. Naturally accessible fibres have become increasingly popular owing to its high accessibility, light weight, and flexibility to be recycled, as opposed to man - made fibers. Organic leafy fibres have been simple to harvest out from crop, and they have greater strength, better efficiency, lower harmful effects, and superior insulating properties than artificial fiber composites. Organic plant fibres composite has minimal processing attrition, is inexpensive, and function well in industrial applications, making them preferable reinforcement materials for the polymer-based composites. In the current investigation, an effort is accomplished to examine the impact of hybrid fibres containing luffa and pineapple fibres in epoxy-based polymer composite on their mechanical strength including tensile, compressive, flexural, and impact characteristics. The total fibre content was fixed as 40% and the hybridization was varied to determine their effect on the mechanical strength of the epoxy composite. The results proved that the luff and pineapple fibre ratio of 3:1 has produced the impressive results comparing to other hybrid combinations. © 2022
