摘要
At present, there are few researches on the causes of servant leadership, and it is considered that servant leadership is a static characteristic of managers. At the same time, research on the effects of sleep has generally focused on our own psychology and behavior. This study explores the effect of manager sleep on servant leadership, using emotional exhaustion as the mediating variable and extending the effect to employee work engagement. Based on the self-regulation theory and the combination of neuroscience, a research hypothesis was proposed, 385 units of daily samples were collected through experience sampling, and multilevel path analysis and Monte Carlo simulation test were carried out on the data. The conclusion was drawn: Manager sleep quality was positively correlated with manager servant leadership, and emotional exhaustion played an intermediary role; Manager servant leadership is positively related to employee work engagement. Manager sleep quality affects employee work engagement through manager emotional exhaustion and manager servant leadership. Finally, we discuss theoretical contribution, practical implication and the future prospect of this research.
