Research on the new trend of low-carbon strategy of multinational corporations

As an important part of the carbon emission process, the low-carbon strategy of multinational corporations plays a key role. In the process of low-carbon economy development, China should fully understand the new trend of low-carbon strategy of multinational corporations to realize China's carbon peak and carbon neutralization targets. This paper first summarizes the significance and necessity of multinational corporations' low-carbon transformation under the background of low-carbon economy and then analyzes the new trends of multinational corporations' low-carbon transformation from three aspects: carbon emission management, energy transformation and low-carbon technology. Finally suggestions are put forward on how to better realize low-carbon transformation from the perspectives of government and enterprises, which can promote the early realization of China's carbon peak and carbon neutralization targets.
