In order to improve the visiting effect of the museum, based on virtual reality technology, this paper combines sensors and gesture recognition algorithms to improve the feature recognition algorithm and builds a museum interactive experience system based on virtual reality technology on this basis. Moreover, starting from the current trend of intelligent development of navigation systems in museums, this paper combines experience design research results with virtual reality systems' design process. At the same time, through detailed research and analysis of the audience's sensory, behavioral, cognitive, and emotional experience levels, this paper proposes a corresponding museum interactive experience system design strategy. In addition, with the help of VR technology principles, powerful development engines, and intelligent wearable VR devices, users can get close contact with virtual cultural museums. Finally, this paper designs experiments to verify and analyze the system. The research results show that the system constructed in this paper is effective. © 2024 U-turn Press LLC.
