This project presents an embedded system design that integrates a Node MCU (ESP8266) microcontroller with a SIM800L GSM module, NEO-6M GPS module, relay, and buzzer to create a remote monitoring and control system. The system allows users to send and receive SMS messages using the SIM800L module, which can trigger actions such as turning a relay on/off or requesting GPS coordinates. The NEO-6M GPS module is used to obtain accurate GPS coordinates, which can be sent to a predefined phone number via SMS. A 9V battery powers the system and uses to buck converter for regulate the voltage. The code is implemented in embedded C using the Arduino IDE and libraries for the SIM800L and NEO-6M GPS modules. The system provides a practical solution for remote monitoring and control applications, such as tracking and controlling assets, vehicles, or other objects using SMS commands and GPS coordinates. © 2023.
