Process knowledge management method for intelligent assembly

Aiming at the problems of the low intelligence and cumbersome process knowledge in the assembly process of electromechanical products, an assembly process knowledge management method oriented to intelligent assembly was proposed. The process knowledge model was constructed based on ontology, and Web Ontology Language (OWL) was used to encode the knowledge ontology. The characteristics of process knowledge involved in the assembly process were classified. The process knowledge base was constructed on the basis of the type of knowledge. An assembly process knowledge management method based on product life cycle was proposed. Additionally, an intelligent reasoning process method based on ontology semantic similarity and logical reasoning was designed. Combining Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and closed-loop control ideas, an evaluation and optimization method was proposed. By taking the relay as an example, the validity of the process management method was verified. The assembly process management system was applied in an aerospace electronics enterprise. © 2023 CIMS.
