The fluctuation of photovoltaic, wind and load power has significant influence on the planning of microgrid. Therefore, this paper fully considers the fluctuation of uncertain parameters in the joint planning. In order to distinguish the fluctuation of uncertain parameters under different safety margins, an improved polyhedron uncertainty set is proposed to describe the fluctuation of photovoltaic and wind power, as well as load power related to the electricity price. The two-stage robust model with minimum comprehensive cost is established and solved by CCG (column constraint generation) algorithm and commercial solver Cplex. Finally, a typical example of low voltage microgrid is used to verify the effectiveness of the model, and the economy of the planning scheme under different degrees of conservatism is analyzed. The results show that the power supply reliability can be significantly improved by the planning scheme considering the safety margin with less economic cost. © 2020, Power System Technology Press.
