NONLINEAR STABILITY OF SYMMETRICALLY LAMINATED CYLINDRICALLY ORTHOTROPIC SHALLOW SPHERICAL SHELLS INCLUDING TRANSVERSE SHEAR

<正> In this paper, a theory for large deflection of symmetrically laminated composite cylin-drically orthotropic shallow spherical shells including transverse shear is proposed. The non-linear stability of the symmetrically laminated cylindrically orthotropic shallow sphericalshell with a rigidly clamped edge under the action of a uniform pressure is studied by themodified iteration method. The analytic solution for critical loads of the shell is obtained,and it can be applied directly to engineering.
