摘要
The present work describes the effect of magneto hydrodynamic boundary layer flow and heat transfer of nanofluid over a permeable shrinking sheet with wall mass suction and heat source sink. The Brownian motion and the thermophoresis effects are also considered. The boundary layer equations governed by partial differential equations are transformed into a system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations with the help of local similarity transformations and the equations are solved numerically by variational finite element method. The effects of different controlling parameters such as magnetic field parameter M, suction parameter S, chemical reaction parameter gamma, heat source/sink parameter lambda, Brownian motion parameter Nb, thermophoresis parameter Nt, Prandtl number Pr, Lewis number Le on the flow field and heat transfer characteristics are presented. The graphical representation of the numerical investigation is performed to illustrate the influence of various flow parameters on velocity, temperature and nanoparticle volume fraction profiles as well as Nusselt number and Sherwood number distributions.
