摘要：
The article is focused on the phenomenon of endless politization of the memory of war that is truly ubiquitous. Various ways of interaction between historical memory and public opinion are demonstrated, together with political initiatives on all levels. The author differentiates between public existence of the memory of war and the scholarly views of the past (that are also influenced by ideologies). The author reflects upon professional responsibility of a historian and one's place in the process of post-war reconciliation.
