PROCESSING OF SATELLITE SPECTROMETRIC MEASUREMENTS OF BRIGHTNESS OVER THE SEA-SURFACE

摘要
Data from aircraft experiments is used to analyse the information content of spectrometric measurements of the brightness of the sea surface and the factors influencing it, based on fractal representations of the nature of the studied phenomena. It is shown that satellite measurements require the use of 'differential height' methods of atmospheric correction such as those used for the MKS M.
