The nature of the chemicals used in structuring the materials and the process conditions determine the overall emissions that arise during the process. Some of these are complicated systems, the peculiarity of which must be taken into account with respect to analysis and protective measures. Due to the conditions involved, the individual steps in the process are characterized by special types of emissions. The initial substances used relative to the various steps in the process display characteristic effects, whereby the respective points of emphasis can vary considerably. For each of the different product groups, the effects characteristic in each case are represented on the basis of the structure and the role they play in the formula and the material.
