The role of co-investigator in school environment in collaborative research

The development of partnership is a promising way to improve mediation between research and practice. In fact, the participation of individuals from university and school environments promotes the production of knowledge that is useful for the two contexts at the same time and contributes to the development of the professionalization of teaching. This new form of research leads the actors to play roles that are different from those traditionally assigned. Based on current writing on this topic and on the results of a collaborative research project, the authors propose a conceptualization of the notion of co- researcher, specifically regarding the school as a partner.
