High resolution spectra of acetylene have been measured in the region between 12 900 and 13 080 cm-1 with a GaAs diode laser spectrometer. Five bands (3ν1 + ν3 of 12C2H2 and 12C13CH2, and 3ν1 + ν3 + ν41 - ν41, 4ν3 + ν51 - ν41, and 3ν1 + ν3 + ν51 - ν51 of 12C2H2) have been assigned and analyzed yielding new or improved spectroscopic constants for the upper states. Perturbations observed in the 3ν1 + ν3 and 3ν1 + ν3 + ν51 - ν51 bands of 12C2H2 have been analyzed by taking account of the Fermi interactions. © 1992.
