Reasons Alleged form the Male Parents When They Ask for the Custody of Their Children

Has been done a study of 200 files about families in the region of Murcia, in which it has been asked for an expert psychological evaluation because of the request from both parents of the custody of their children. Through the analysis of the male parents petition it has been done a classification about the origin of their reasons to ask for the custody: Petition of equal rights and care for the children. It is alleged bad caring from the mothers to he children (because of mental problems, drugs abuse and physical abuse). The children express their wish of living whith him. Existence of a PAS. Economic interest. With no reason. In each one of the requests it has been valued the age, the sex of the children and the opinion from the other parent. It is analysed the expert evaluation and the reasons in which the custody is based from the psychologist.
