After more than five years since its implementation in 2010 and because of the few studies carried out on the topic, this article aims to describe and assess the entrance exam for people over 45 at the University of Seville (US). From a quantitative perspective, the study evaluates the number of attendees, admitted and passing candidates, as well as the motivations and expectations of the candidates towards the entrance exam, collecting their opinions through a survey. The results are considered satisfactory in terms of the number of attendees, taking into account the age of the candidates. The candidates' valuations have been very positive, proposing the implementation of a counseling service for this group of students, nonexistent up to now at the University of Seville.
