Determination of Environmental Attitudes of Students of Landscape Architecture

This research was done in order to determine the Department of landscape architecture students 'views on interest in environmental issues, attitudes and perceptions. The research working group was was designed by 86 of students attanded to Namik Kemal University Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture in the academic year of 2012-2013. For data analysis, In addition to descriptive statistics (arithmetic average), reliability analysis, Factor Analysis and chi square test were also used. The reliability of the 14 variables were tested by the survey which was developed to determine the environmental awareness of individuals and obtained 0,730 of dependability. 14 variables grouped under the five factors by using factor analysis. Some hypothesis were also developed for the purpose of the study. The relationship among the opinions of gender, environmental awareness and environmental threats were obtained meaningful as well as the relation between class level and environmental protection applications.
