DIRECT CALCULATION OF THE KINETIC COEFFICIENTS FROM KUBO FORMULAS

摘要
The procedure is proposed for calculating directly the kinetic coefficients from the Kubo formulae, without solving the kinetic equation. It is based on expanding the scattering operator in the inverse powers of the number of atoms in a crystal. For the elastic scattering on randomly distributed defects, this procedure leads to the standard results of the kinetic theory. For inelastic scattering, e. g., of electrons on phonons, the use of the Kubo formula allows to obtain an expression for electroconductuvity in the explicit form. Within the standard kinetic theory the electroconductivity may be found only through the approximate solution of an integral equation.
