This report presents an overview of the proceedings at the 15th Annual Conference on European Tort Law, hosted by the European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law and the Institute for European Tort Law of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and University of Graz in Vienna, Austria, in 2016. It recounts briefly the key issues discussed and arguments made during the three core sections of the conference the opening lecture, the reports on national tort developments, and the special session on liability for unknown risks.
