摘要：
A class of nth order linear systems with a variable structure is discretised and analysed in detail. The occurrence and structure of pseudo-sliding modes give insight into the corresponding sliding modes for the continuous system, and enable the relation between the system parameters and the sampling period to be explored. The analysis is illustrated with a simulation study of third- and fourth-order systems.
