摘要
It is shown that the repulsive discrete nonlinear Schrodinger equation (the so-called Ablowitz-Ladik model) possesses singular points that crucially change the character of the general solution. In particular, they do not allow propagation of stable localized pulses in the system. An example of such a solution is analytically obtained. Numerical simulations are used to investigate a chain of many points.
