摘要
TWACS is a unique Power Frequency Communication (PFC) technology. The power voltage is modulated at the substation hus for outbound communication and inbound communication from a remote transponder is accomplished by drawing precisely controlled current pulses which are detectable at the distribution substation. The propagation characteristics of the TWACS signal and the frequency characteristics of the signal detector make it possible to communicate over very long distribution feeders and provide a high degree of immunity against harmonic distortions of the power system voltage and current.
