摘要
The new century has brought with it the need to train a man in line with this new time, a citizen of the world, part of a global civilization but is also committed to his country, his community and is able to adapt to constant change. To achieve this goal it is necessary that teachers facilitate learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together and learning to be, using the opportunities offered by new information technologies and communication. A pre experimental, pre test-post test study with a single group, to determine if the attendance of students from Integral Education at the National Open University who work as active teachers, at a workshop of teaching and learning Venezuelan modern and contemporary history through the psychosocial analysis of literary works with the TICs support, influenced their perception, according to gender, about the students' and the teacher's role in history classes. The results indicated changes in the perception of these roles but did not show significant differences in their perception according to gender.
