摘要：

The aim of this work is to compare the theoretical provisions and practical features of the use of human capital in the interests of growth of the territories of advanced economic development in modern Russia. To achieve this and determine the role and value of human capital for the growth of the territories of advanced economic development, the method of regression and correlation analysis is used in this paper. Based on the official statistical information of the Russian Federation Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the United Nations Development Program, the authors analyze the dependence of the relevant indicators. The main authors' conclusion resulting the study is that over the three-year period of their existence, the Russian territories of advanced economic development did not manage to adapt to the challenges of the "knowledge economy" in full and, despite their strong dependence on human capital, Russian territories of advanced economic development do not realize its value and do not consider it as an important factor.
