Economic analyses of the operating costs in the vapour absorption cycle using four types of fluids (LiBr-H2O, H2O NH3, LiNO3-NH3 and NaSCN-NH3 mixtures) and three forms of energy (biogas, LPG and solar) for optimizing the generator (t(g)) and condensing temperatures (t(f)) have been carried out keeping the solution flow ratios (MR) and the temperatures of the evaporator (t(e)) and the cooling-water (t(wi)) fixed. Also, economic analysis, for optimizing the solution flow ratios in the various absorption cycles has been done. The optimum values of t(g) and the corresponding values of the cooling and heating coefficients of performance have been exhibited graphically for a wide range of operating conditions.
