摘要
This work aims to investigate the actions and methodologies used in the design of a Mathematics discipline in a undergraduate online degree course, based in a dialogic and investigative approach. For this purpose, a qualitative research, case study type, was conducted, involving the observation of two virtual classrooms of the discipline "Mathematics I", of the Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, offered by Instituto Federal do Espirito Santo, and semi-structured interview with the teacher of the virtual classrooms. To the data analysis, the content analysis was realized. The collected data shows that the planning of Mathematics online discipline was based on the implementation of practices commonly used in the traditional school environment, giving priority to content exposure over dialogical and investigative actions. We hope to contribute on the dialogue about ways to employ teaching strategies that prioritize research and problem solving, once the results point to the need for training about these subjects.
