摘要
Based on the concept of urban metabolism, the article analyzes the state of the inflow and outflow of water from the old area of the city of Baeza, cantonal header of Quijos (Ecuador). It details the existence of entropic metabolic processes where there is no effective reintegration of the water resource into the urban ecosystem. Also, from the vision of ecobarrio presents an intervention proposal that establishes guidelines to generate a better recirculation of water in the territory. To that extent, the article seeks to encourage discussion on how to achieve an urban environmental balance around wateraround water, which at the same time guarantees sustainability and socio-territorial balance.
