摘要：
The regularization of the singular integral equation arising from the crack problems in plane elasticity is an important problem in fracture analysis. Several works have been done in the field of regularizing the singular integral equation. An alternate procedure of regularizing the singular equation in the crack problem has been carried out. In this paper it is pointed out that the system of singular integral equations arising from the multiple crack problem in an infinite plate can be also converted into a system of Fredholm integral equations by the use of the second procedure.
