This article engages the studies conducted by the Bakhtin Circle and the ones conducted by Henri Wallon on children's language. Coming from the Bakhtin Circle's studies, we've highlighted the works of Volochinov (2019, 2013) and Bakhtin (1997, 2011) on extra verbal situations, which involve space, meaning and values that can be found onto communicative expression - also marked by different intonations and always socially addressed - as well as the presence and influence of another one in the definition of oneself These ideas were complemented by Henri Wallon's psychogenesis theory of the complete person (1979, 2007, 2008), which understands a child in a whole perspective, considering the fields of affectivity, movement, cognition and the self as it relates with the environment that surrounds it, bringing basic considerations about child development. Thus, the text has been divided in two parts: initially, we presented some central ideas that bring both theories together, trying to interweave the threads that compose them and identify the ones that bring them closer and complement each other. In the second part, we emphasized the dialogue issue, not only between the theoretical framework but as well as a primordial element in the constitution of baby's languages. By engaging both writers, we could realize that there are many ideas in common between them, mainly when thinking the language in a sociological perspective and that has another one and the environment as fundamental elements in this constitution.
