Stability of mined-out area is maintained by improving the state of stress and restricting its displacement in surrounding rock with backfilling; and environment is also protected on the earth surface. Based on the mechanism of the backfilling, the influences of material factors on the backfilling are analyzed; and the optimal mixing proportion of materials is found with orthogonal experiment; and the characteristics of the backfilling with optimal mixing proportion are studied. The results show that the backfilling can restrict geostatic activity; protect environment; and facilitate the reuse of resources of the mine.
