摘要
The adsorptive stripping voltammetric behavior of 6-amino penicillanic acid (6-APA) is investigated and a sensitive adsorptive stripping voltammetry method for trace measurement of 6-APA is described. It is based on adsorptive accumulation of degradation product of 6-APA on the static mercury drop electrode, followed by stripping determination. Optimal conditions are a basic medium pH of 9.2 and an adsorption accumulation potential of -0.1 V (vs. Ag/AgCI); the stripping scan is done in the differential pulse mode. After accumulation for 2 min or 4 min, 4 x 10(-9) M or 1 x 10(-9) M 6- APA respectively, may be detected. The method has been developed for the assay of 6-APA in pharmaceutial sample.
