摘要
This paper studies a stochastic model related to the fault tolerant computer system. Such types of system may work normally until the latent fault/error occurs. As soon as a fault appears in the system automatic recovery starts. The latent fault or the error stage may appear after the transient fault. A detection facility is available for identifying the type of fault and the nature of the repair required for system recovery. Using the regenerative point technique, various economics-related characteristics are obtained.
