摘要
The intention of this article is to contribute to the interdisciplinary discussions that the academic community has been promoting for years about the concept of cultural heritage, its transformations, extensions and possibilities of analysis. Thus, when using Ernst Cassirer and his critique of culture based on the philosophy of symbolic forms in dialogue with the concept of cultural heritage, we sought to leverage a debate essentially analytical-comprehensive, rather than descriptive. To investigate the possibility of such dialogue, the concepts served as an analytical basis in the study of some aspects of cultural heritage, especially the Casa do Divino, in Ponta Grossa (state of Parana) since 1882. The symbolic forms presented by Cassirer allowed to understand the man as the one who plays, articulates and synthesizes human experience. Studying these practices, through his cultural heritage, it was found that this man is subject to the rules of his community, but also to its production and modification according to his identification and functionality.
