摘要：
The purpose of this study is to show that euthanize as a verb, by virtue of its lexical meaning, is a verb that could belong to the verb class of the verbs of killing. The researcher starts from the semantic analysis, in particular, on the pre- and post-conditions contained in the semantics of the verb from which we can define the verbs of killing, by focusing on the semantic relation of troponymy, a notion which is not very known or referred to in the literature of lexicology. This, it is hoped, will help structure the verbal lexicon hierarchically.
