Using NMR methods (temperature dependences of the shape of the spectra and the spin-lattice relaxation time), for an ionogenic copolymer based on acrylic acid and divinylsulfide in the tetrabutylammonium ionic form we have shown that in the region of the thermal effect detected by DTA at a positive temperature, self-consistent retardation of diffusion of water molecules and the conformational mobility of the polymeric chains occur. The changes in the correlation times corresponding to these processes are about one and four orders of magnitude. This confirms the formation of polyhydrates of the clathrate type in the ionogenic polymers, when the polymer matrix acts as the "guest."
