摘要
Conformational equilibria in the charged region of spherical ionomeric colloids are studied using a self-consistent mean-field Monte Carlo method. It is shown that the ionomers do not adopt a single type of conformation but instead exhibit both rodlike and swollen coil like regions. The extent of these regions can be controlled by varying the screening length, curvature of the colloid core, and aggregation number.
