摘要
A new approach based on integration of the fuzzy set theory and an expert system to solve the multicase VAR planning problem is presented in this paper. The multicase VAR planning problem involves the determination of an installation pattern of locations and sizes of new compensators for multiple cases. The expert system is designed to solve one case at a time. A fuzzy reasoning process incorporating planners' experiences is used to combine the individual information obtained from each case. The IEEE 30- and 118-bus systems are used to show the capabilities of the proposed approach.
