摘要：

Posttraumatic stress disorder is one amongst the several types of reaction to traumatic exposure. This article introduces a case whose symptoms comply with the diagnostic criteria for PTSD in a patient who suffered sexual abuse in childhood, 50 years ago. It describes the history of the victim and the therapeutic process to getting over the trauma.
