THE WILD SIDE OF LIFE: BODIES AND EMOTIONS

In this paper, we examine the discourses of certain performers - actors, circus people and classical dancers-about their own bodies and the way their work with it. What interests us is to give fundament to an epistemology of corporality distanced from the paradigm of disruption or abnormality. Through the allowance of sense enlargement, connecting body use with its materiality, these artists let us throw light on a different relation that takes us away from the dominant neoliberal system: body as a locus of emotions.
