摘要：
Forgiveness is one of the most efficient means to restore positive and functional relationships after they have deteriorated due to interpersonal conflicts and fights. Since conflicts and fights are an unevitable part of interpersonal relationships, it is very sensible for the partners to be also equipped with skills that restore these deteriorated relations. It could even be said that the ability to seek and grant forgiveness is one of the strongest factors contributing to marital contentedness and endurance of the marriage.
