摘要
Perturbation theory according to the moment method is a powerful tool to treat coupled anharmonic oscillators because it leads to simple recurrence relations for the perturbation corrections. We calculate analytic energy coefficients for the lowest states of an exemplary model and illustrate how to overcome the problem posed by degenerate states that are connected through the perturbation.
