摘要：
In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for a wider class of generalized contraction type mappings relative to a self-map and show that the common fixed point will be a contractive fixed point of the reference map under certain condition on contraction constant. Our result is a generalization of common fixed point theorems of first author, and of Akkouchi.
